PADDINGTON STREET.

In one of Sydney's loveliest streets this small dark unrenovated terrace was in much need of love and life. The client wanted his home to feel luxurious like a hotel but cosy and inviting for guests as well as a place to entertain. We redesigned the exterior with timber decking and built in seating as well as hanging art murals in copper and lush planting all around. Demolishing all walls in the kitchen and installing a large window to open the space and allow natural light to flow throughout we built in floor to ceiling cabinetry under the staircase, laid solid timber flooring and made use of the small area for storage and created a continuation of the designer ceaserstone kitchen.

Opening directly on to the dining/living area this room has a relaxing and opulent feel about it with it's plush dark carpet, leather furniture, artwork and gas fireplace. The use of glass modernises the old staircase and keeps it as open as possible. The bathroom needed new tiling and updated pc's as well as glass doors to hide an existing laundry laundry and modernise it's entry. The bedroom has a real mood with floor to ceiling cabinetry in smokey brown, chocolate plush carpet, soft lighting and a stunning mirror to showcase the room.
