A fantastic opportunity for NND to transform the office areas and reception of Yahoo 7. Located on a heritage wharf it came with obvious restrictions, but the charm and history of this beautiful wharf was a joy to work on. Wanting to make an impact and update the entry foyer, a new counter bench reception area was built in stone, with the feature yahoo logo wall behind to crate privacy and separation from the office and soft areas behind. We added new lighting, great designer furniture was selected to make an impact on the entrance as well as a media wall to showcase their range of work and highlight their awards.
The soft areas for meetings were updated with custom made local furniture by Koskela, a mix of danish lighting by Muuto, painted and wallpapered walls as well as green planting dividers to make the open plan office area more appealing and inviting for staff and clients.
